Best Part of the Day-
Scarlet's 5 year-old b-day party was this morn. Yes, in the morn. It was at Pump It Up--the fun-filled all inflatable party zone. At first I was down about a morning party (10a-noon) and thought the 2 hours simply was not a long enough period to fully experience the party zone. But these peeps know what they are doing--it was clean, safe, super duper fun for all ages (I loved it and slam dunked a basketball for the first time--I did feel like a bad ass superstar!!), and the kids were pooped after only 1 hour of playing and jumping.
The kids were so well-mannered and all of the families and friends are great (like they would be jerks at a party--duh!!) It was a really cool day and even better that I had no pre-clean or post-clean!! Love it.

Worst Part of the Day-
Well, that would be after the mad party as I was carrying in the bushels of pink, plasticky gifts and bags, etc. One of the kids (I hope this was inadvertent) locked the automatic car door and boom--the doors were locked with car keys in the ignition and the extra set in my work bag in the passenger seat. Eeee gads.

Best Parts of the Worst Part-
1.) I removed the scrumptious ice cream cake from the boiling hot car just prior to door locking incident. More for me.
2.) AAA sent out a locksmith within 40 minutes and this man took under 1 minute to unlock the door.
3.) The AAA man I called to dispatch the locksmith was THE MOST PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. I live for appropriate customer service! (He is from Michigan--good peeps--he even wished S. a Happy B-day Party Day.)
