Liam went to his sitter's today and he seemed overjoyed to go and play with his buddies after not seeing them for a week. It allowed me time to clean and organize to my heart's content. I cleaned out my sock and undie drawers and closet as well as Scarlet's overflowing and difficult to shut dresser drawers. I packed up 2 huge bag o' goodies for GoodWill. Whew.
Worst Part of the Day
When one's Best Part of the Day is cleaning out undie drawers, ya know it was pretty lame diddy lamesville.
Cutest Comments of the Day-
1.) Liam now says "Oh boy!" instead of "uh oh" to all of his spills (intentional and accidental). He says it much like someone who speaks English as a second language. He puts the accent on boy (oh-BOY) and it is smile-inducing. Even as I am on my hands and knees cleaning up whatever mess he has made...
2.) Scarlet was describing another boy in her class (not the John Lennon look-a-like). She said, "He has the sweetest face--just like Obama's." I know this boy from the pumpkin farm field trip last week and he really does look like a 5 year-old Obama. Good call, S.
