This would be a toss up between having to confront my weekend babysitter (and her mom) about finding very inappropriate (i.e. blacksonblondes and lovelylesbian) websites (and many of them) from this past Friday night on my laptop AND getting a call during my weekly class that Will-O "forgot" to pick up Scarlet from the bus stop. Yes, I was/am LIVID. Universe--please get off my back. Seriously.
Best Part of the Day-
Having the always awkward talk with above mentioned sitter and her mom (on 3-way call to make things more poetic) about porn and computers and teenagers and babysitting and moms-have-to-tell-other-moms-these-things...I am satisfied with the given explanation (the sitter really does not seems the "double life" type.) It seems she logged onto Facebook (at 10:10pm as noted by computer history), then yahoo, then myspace, back to yahoo. She opened a strange email and it was some creepy site. She clicked on it and then tried to close the box and then more and more weird sites started popping up. This does make sense as the history states she visited the sites 79 times in an hour and a half--unlikely for even the experienced adult site browser...Regardless, I enjoyed her candor and she did not appear sheepish or to be lying AT aLL--and I believe her. Her mom was also helpful and not defensive or pulling the "not my child!" move. We all thanked each other and we are in good standing again. I am simply glad to clear this chat from my daily docket.
