Worst Part of the Day - I thought that preschool teachers were all supposed to be sweet as pie and ... well I thought SB's teacher was kind of a beeaytch. And thinking back, I think it is actually less her fault and more the fault of the program director. See, I went in to talk to the director and was given a definite loosey, goosey vibe (as in - it's all good! Just show up on that Tuesday!) Thank GOD I received an e-mail from IMP's teacher telling me what to pack. It's very, very regimented (which I don't think is a bad thing - probably necessary when dealing with tots and parentals). But anyways - I'm wanting to chat briefly about my child and she is wanting me out the door. She's wanting my child potty trained and I'm telling her he is definitely NOT trained. And as she is ushering me out the door with "we'd love to stay and chat, but we have to greet all the other students." (and the classroom is totally empty). But still ... I think that maybe some information PRIOR to this day might have been helpful for the both o' us. Also this teacher did not appreciate the IMP tearing down the apples with names on them off her door (I have to say that I gleefully laughed inwardly .. very immature.)

Best Part of the Day - Um (barring first encounter with SB's teech) preschool ROCKS!! I had time to finish unpacking Erik's and my room (maybe the messy, un-fengshui was contributing to my sleep issues). I had numerous cups of tea that did not:
a. get cold
b. get spilled
c. get forgotten
Upon picking up the children I received positive reports ("sweet but quiet" for SB and "ate all his lunch and did pretty well for his first day" for IMP.) Then naps and then we had a lovely afternoon of playtime fun. So blissful.
