It's My Birthday!

Worst Part of the Day - I was happy to do a favor for Uncle Chris (his wife is out of town and so I was going to pick up young Carson from daycare). What I didn't know is that I should have just picked C up and then headed home. I thought we had another babysitter coming, but Uncle Chris (nicely) insisted on babysitting. SO I get to C's daycare, get both boyz out of the car, get his carseat, head to the playground, get Carson, have to change Carson in the car (ugh) and then finally head to his brother Jack's school (this is the time when I should have headed HOME! But, again, thought I was supposed to head to Jack's school. Sigh, sigh). So I get all three boyz out of the car, walk them to the classroom only to head out ten minutes later .... blah, blah, blah. By the time I get home I'm pissy. Then Erik gets pissy and we're off to an awesome date night.
Also Erik and I had an overpriced, subpar meal .... blah, blah, blah.

Best Part of the Day - After 20 minutes of pissiness at the restaurant, Erik and I recover and go on to have an excellent time (mostly dissing the food at the restaurant and talking about the future). Then we head to the Cheesecake Factory for some much needed birthday dessert. So fun to live in a city where stuff is open past 9:30 p.m. Have to love that. Overall - a good birthday! Too bad I didn't get to talk to anyone as my phone charger was left in Michigan and I'm waiting for it to be mailed! UGH!
