Best Part of the Day - Arrived at the DMV and studied pamphlet front to back (Okay - so I skimmed, but a thorough skimming). Only took about 20 minutes to get in to take the test. Passed the test with a 99% score (you know, I just needed to APPLY myself). Nice lady waives the driving test - whoo hoo! Get my NC Driver's License and head out to grocery store, to pick up recycling bins (FINALLY!) and to the library (where three books I chose online are waiting for me! Love it!)
Also for the second day in a row, right before his bath, IMP just lifted himself on to the toilet and went pee. HOORAY - now we just need to get him to do it at other times of the day!!
Worst Part of the Day - The entire time I'm erranding - IMP is sicky with a temperature at preschool and they are trying and trying and trying to get ahold of me!!! The messages get progressively more frantic with IMP WAILING in the background. OH crap. I race to the preschool and find him sleeping in the corner. They finally figured out that his shoes were too tight or put with his toes crunched and once they took them off he was eventually able to fall asleep. (Weirdly he wore this shoes on Tuesday, no problem, and he did not have a temp when I picked him up.) I did get some grim looks and tsk tsks regarding my not calling back and my husband not calling back and my emergency contact not calling back. Whoops - there goes my Mother of the Year Award ... again.
