Worst Part of the Day - Hurricane Hanna and I were supposed to "slap five" as she was around DC area heading North and I was around DC area heading south. Instead she bitch slapped me for about 50 minutes of low driving vision, hydroplaning and truck induced anxiety.
Best Part of the Day - Had a lovely, lovely jazz brunch put on by Stacia with some DC friends. Full of good food and interesting political conversation (it's DC after all). Sooooo nice to chill and enjoy with old pals (also got to meet Baby Tristan, my friend Val's offspring who was a good, sweet bebe.)
Made it to Charlotte in one piece! Hooray - another item to check off moving "to do" list.
