I received a note from a college acquaintance (gotta love facebook) who checked out a link to this very blog and then proceeded to read it in its entirety--subsequently knowing my present day life better than my own father. Her sentiments were extraordinarily kind and reminded me how we all have beauty and obstacles in our lives (i.e. best parts and worst parts.) Her kindness inspired me to write to another friend who I think possesses an amazing outlook in the the face of adversity...passing it on.
Worst Part of the Day-
I am super duper ready for bed at 7:30pm, but try to force myself to stay up as I feel like I should. For what? T.V.? I only watch PBS...For the coveted glass of wine as the home is tidy and quiet after the chitlins are snoozing? Probably. The thing is tonight I basically force-fed myself the wine and then realized, dudes--I am exhausted. It was weird and unnecessary. And pretty lame that this must be written about...blah.

Meg, I do the same...do not feel alone. I am snoozing in Boo-boos room at 8pm, then wake up at 9pm only to force stay up until 10:30! It is only to hold onto those precious moments that are truely our own in the day! k
You hit it on the head--the precious moments alone...
