Best Part of the Day - Hands Down it was the morning. I was on schedule to sleep in while Erik got up with the kiddos. But then he went the extra mile and brought me in a latte and the Sunday newspaper. I did what I haven't done in years - sipped coffee and read the entire front page with no interruptions. OH MY BLISS. This has been my (unspoken) dream for some time now and it was everything I imagined.
Worst Part of the Day - We took the kiddos to the Discovery Place again in the late afternoon. The task of getting the two boyz in the car is OUTRAGEOUSLY difficult (even with two adults on task). IMP has decided he doesn't like his car seat and so he arches his back to make it extra difficult to buckle him in. SB messes with the automatic door and says "no" to everything you say (except if you say "want ice cream?" Then he says "n ... YES!" EXHAUSTING - makes me want to just turn on Noggin and never take them anywhere. But I will try to supress these feelings.
