Best Part of the Day-
OBAMA. I was feeling more hopeful earlier today about the outcome (after being afraid to watch election coverage--due to post-traumatic stress issues after John Kerry lost...) Tonight after one Belgian White (Lakefront Brewery--yum) I was feeling brave and then downright giddy about seeing all of the blue states pop up.
The stars have aligned. The timing, our history, the people, the grassroots push--Barack. His speech was extrordinary. He seems to have the ability to truly inspire Americans. (That's what leaders do , right? We have been without a leader for so long, I kinda forgot.) He exudes a natural confidence--it allows us, the people, to believe him.
Yes we can!

Worst Part of the Day-
I was all wound up after Obama's victory speech. I could not settle down. It took hours and hours. I considered slamming another Belgian White just for sedative purposes. Just when I my heart rate was slowing and I was drifting off, my phone rang. It was Will-O giving cheers and congrats for me helping and being an Obama Mama. He promptly followed up his thoughts with, "Now I hope he doesn't get assasinated..." Come on, dude. That's what the Secret Service is for. Don't wake me and be a buzz kill.

Side Note-
Though McCain was fumbling through his speech, he seemed the most REAL he has been during this whole lengthy campaign. Less puppet-like, more stand-up guy. He was gracious and I think his message was important: Let's work together.
FYI McCain supporters--a landslide means a ton of people don't agree with ya.
