I found myself with a lil bit o' free time after working in the wee morn, yet before an afternoon meeting (Thursdays are supposed to be my free day afterall...). I went to the crazily popular mall just a mile from work. I took my sassy eye glasses in for the free annual adjustment (they literally fall off of my face since I stupidly let Liam use them as a play toy--sometimes it's just easier to let him play with the object of his desire). I have never taken up any of the bizillion offers of "free" services with crap that I buy: camera lens cleaning, frame adjustments, vacuum filter changing, etc. Today I did it. I felt like a highly organized consumer. It felt good. And I look way less mentally ill with glasses that are not crooked on my face 100% of the time.
Also I bought 2 super cute (sweat shop labor, I am certain) shirts for $2.99 each. Yeah for me, and I justify at that price, the sweat shop laborers were paid an almost fair wage--yeah for them?
Worst Part of the Day-
I rarely go to the mall, but when I do I enjoy the food court thang. I often find myself at Sbarro Pizza as I must emotionally link my mall experiences with the scrumptious Sbarro. Today I was a dissatisfied Sbarro customer. The pizza dough was simultaneously doughy and rock hard. It sucked. I spent more on the pizza, bread stick & drink combo than I did on my 2 super cute shirts. Boo.
