Best Part of the Day-
My medical assistant at work has been on vacation for a week-ish, so I have been doing her job which includes scheduling and taking the girls to medical appointments as their needs arise.  It has been pretty funny.  First of all, it allows me to spend some different type of time with the girls:  One-on-one and out in the community.  (And it is a super easy breezy gig).  Today as I was driving to the appointment, the to-be patient, S., asked if I would turn on the radio.  We rocked out to Lil Wayne with the moon roof open.  At a stoplight,  S. said "ooooh, Miss Megan, that man on your left is all up in your grill..."   I looked to the car on the left and saw a 40-ish man smiling at us and I just kept chair dancing.  Then S. said "oooh, Miss Megan--you're funny for an older lady."  I had to chuckle.  I gotta keep it real.

Worst Part of the Day-
I am applying to be an agency nurse.  It is very similar to my travel nursing gig, but I could just pick and choose hours that I want to work (as opposed to working 12 hour days for a contracted amount o' time).  It is good, in theory, as I could pop-in once a month to just get a small taste of the ER madness, chat with some hospital buds, and call it a day.  Oh yeah, the pay is also great. BUT I have been taking online test after test and seriously doing annoying math problems all night long.  This part bites.  Mostly 'cause in the present day, there are no more math problems in the ER setting--just pre-calculated reference sheets there for our medication-administering pleasure.
