Worst Part of the Day - It's cold. Now trust me - I love the chill of Autumn (it's my favorite season!). I love pulling on a fleece on chillier summer nights and love sleeping under lots of covers. But really? It's August freakin' tenth! And I was in the pool with the boyz and while the water was warm, but the wind? Not so much. And you know kiddos - they'd stay in all day with chattering teeth and blue lips. Me? Not so much. It took a bit for circulation to return to my fingertips. And you could just feel the sun trying to bring some warmth to the peeps of Western Michigan, but the wind being like "hells no. I want to blow."
Best Part of the Day - There was this Family Fun Day down at the yacht club. We took the boyz (IMP is still mad as hell about those canine teeth - he would ONLY nap today if I was laying down with him. I had just taken a much needed shower when he was up and out of bed and then had to lay down with him - you can imagine what my fro looked like). Anyhoo - against better judgement we took them both there and .... it was delightful. SB jumped on the Moon Walk, both ate popcorn and both enjoyed watching the dunk tank. It was the first time I saw IMP non lethargic or not crying in close to two days. A real treat,
