Worst Part of the Day - Okay .. this is SOOO lame. But I had two Buffy the V-pire slayers that were supposed to come yesterday. Only one came and OF COURSE it's disk five, not disk four. Sigh, sigh. It will come today, I tell myself. NOPE. Oh man. Tom Petty's right - waiting IS the hardest part.
Best Part of the Day - Already about 80% packed for NH packing party that commences tomorrow ... this is a new thang for me (I like to pack in a heated rush about 20 minutes before we MUST leave for the airport. WELL I don't LIKE this frenzied pace, but it seems to end up like this these past months. I used to be an excellent, thoughtful packer, but that seemed to go away at some point).
Also told Erik I am in a fragile state and he must ply me with soft words and fine compliments during our packing party. So far he is on board - although the compliments did ring a tich false as they were the exact words I had given him as an example. Oh well - I'll take it. His last words tonight were "we'll have some fun too." I sure hope so - could use some lighthearted fun.
