Best Part of the Day-
I made serious headway regarding Scarlet's school shopping. I am new in the mom-school-shopping-role so I didn't know if I was too early or too late. Today worked out perfectly as mid-morning on a Monday is not a madhouse in the world of commerce. I found some great deals on the requested supplies from her teacher and also super duper cute outfits. (I am trying to avoid the Hannah Montana clothing craze--which of course, Scarlet covets though she has never even seen the show.) The first of billions of fads which I will confidently prohibit.
Worst Part of the Day-
I cannot locate my driver's license!!! It is now officially driving me nuts as I have looked everywhere and I am having the sinking feeling that I have to go to the (non-beloved) DMV soon.
