Worst Part of the Day - Well ... today I'll live vicariously through Erik. He took his Oral Boards today and feels like he totally messed it up. Erik is not a hysterical type (actually the opposite) and is not prone to exaggeration. So when he says to me "I just couldn't think. I knew the stuff but couldn't get it out." It gives me pause. Now I know that most people taking this test come out feeling this way - but the way he expressed himself? Uh oh (as SB has learned to say). Not to mention (she says selfishly) that a depressed husband is not so much a helper. And I am needing his help. Then, to add insult to injury, his flight got canceled (due to the eight inches of snow and then freezing rain) so he had to stay the night at Dulles. Won't be in until tomorrow night. Pobrecito!
Best Part of the Day - We were snowed in today (due to eight inches of snow and freezing rain). Sigh. Just when we had the driveway somewhat clear. But I get a call from Erik's co-worker's husband who had already called Nordie for me. Nordie gets here around 3 p.m. Erik's car (trouper!) pull right out of the driveway and I get it totally cleaned off (and the snow was HEAVY!!) And the driveway looks ... well it looks pretty good considering! Even got our mail delivered!! So nice to have people looking out for you.

That is a terrible feeling for Erik re: the test (and for you if there should be one more test!)..but one does not know, know until the results are in. Suckie.
