Best Part of the Day-
I hung with Liam for my 8-ish hours (what a nugget of love!), popped into work AND went to work out.  Yes, this is what most Type A working moms do daily, but it is a first for me in a while (too many real tasks tend to overwhelm my delicate system).  Getting it done.  (AKA making up for yesterday's laze).

Worst Part of the Day-
Scarlet was relaying some solicited stories from preschool this week.  She started going into a mild diatribe about how Ms. Kate (her lead teacher) was explaining how to do some school/discipline things at home.  Her talk started getting serious and she said deadpan, "Ms. Kate said that all parents need to..." (What could it be, I wonder?  Be firm with a bedtime routine.  Check.  Be diligent with dental care?  Check.  Work on letters and reading?  Check.)  "...Um, Ms. Kate said that all parents need to get a plasma screen t.v. this week, that's what she said--for real.  So we need to get one."  Ex-squeeze me?  I may not fully know the difference between a plasma screen and a flat screen t.v. (there are differences, right?), but I know for certain that those precise words have never been uttered in this home.   Not only is my child telling tall tales at age 4, she is coveting thy neighbor's plasma goods.
