Scarlet asked me if I could help her look up "pbskids.org" (she does watch a bit of a pbs daily). I was happy to show her a few things and thought she would last a few minutes trying to navigate the site before it was obviously geared toward 7 year-olds. That mentally of mine is sooo 2004. Of course she knew what to do--she ended up being a total pro. She used the keyboard mouse (they use a traditional mouse at preschool) and clicked away and played letter identification games and early reading games for no less than an hour. (I know screen time is t.v. time to the medical community...) She did well and really enjoyed it. Liam napped, she increased her internet proficiency and I read. When Will-O returns I will have Scarlet give him a "how to" tutorial.
Worst Part of the Day-
Scarlet awoke pale and not hungry. I knew something was up as typically she has the appetite of a teenage boy and she always has the rosiest cheeks in the land. She had been up less than an hour when she threw up. She proceeded to spend her time lounging, sipping water and sporting pallor. My sweet girl. Please end the pain today!!
