Worst Part of the Day - The movie Vantage Point. Erik and I went to see a matinee and OH MY. Actually the first half (maybe a tich more) was good and intriguing and made me hopeful. But then, alas, after the 25 minute wholly unbelievable car chase, I am to believe that these terrorists who will stop at NOTHING will veer off the road for .... well I won't tell you . And then watching Dennis Quaid emote with William Hurt in the manliest way possible actually caused me physical pain. But the premise is good and I bet if you read the script you'd think - "cool movie!" Too bad the special effect people had to hijack the film and too bad the ending went waaaay off the deep end. People in the theater actually laughed at the supposed to be powerful last words.

Best Part of the Day - Met with two other mamas for a playdate at the Kaleidoscope Museum. SB had a blast and was the perfect age for it. The IMP loved the lobby with the beautiful displays he could knock down or put in his mouth (oh does he love it when I don't want him to do something. SB didn't quite have that at 13 months.) Then we went to lunch. Erik called during lunch and since we were close decided to meet us. Right when he got there, the boyz started acting up. Erik scarfed his sandwich, stood up and said "I'll take the boyz home for their naps." (Cue superhero music and cape winging back in the wind.) The other two mamas gaped in wonder at Super Dad. So I got to sit there for an extra HALF HOUR and finish my salad and have another Diet Coke in peace (well relative peace as there were three other kiddos there - but it helps that they were not MINE.) It was delish and so lovely! Cheers to Erik!
