Worst Part of the Day - Awoken at midnight to a feverish and yelling IMP. Again, the child cannot be comforted unless attached as an appendage to his mama. When the fever broke at about 4 a.m. there was a literal puddle of sweat on my bed. Poor thang. But I feel (hope?) that this was the last fever and the last midnight fever outbreak.

Best Part of the Day - While headed home from my workout class, I was speeding down 32nd Street. I thought to myself "man, I probably should slow down. There's no rush. But then again, I haven't seen a cop on this street all summer." Seriously I was thinking this when a white car passed me going the opposite direction flashing it's lights five times. Huh. Is that not the universal signal for "COP AHEAD SLOW YOUR ASS DOWN." So I slow down and right around the bend .... a cop. Heh heh. And I swear he gave me a look like "you won this time. But watch out!" (But THAT is probably all in my head.) So thank you Good Samaritan!!
