I got to sleep in until 8:30am!!! Will-O remains in Chicago and the kids slept over at my parents', so I had time to rest and relax prior to my 12 hours o' holiday fun at the ER. I took a shower, put on make-up, did my hair AND ate before work today--unheard of. (Divine).
Worst Part of the Day-
I got a call from Will-O at the ER at around 8:30pm reporting the kids were home (my parents had taken them to a 4th party on a lake ALL day) and Scarlet was missing me and needing a 'goodnight' talk. I talked to her briefly and could tell she was fragile and EXHUASTED. I then stressed to Will-O to just be sensitive to her as she is severely over-tired as she has had a social calendar that competes with my mom's this week.
Much to my dismay (horror), it turns out after Will-O read Scarlet numerous book and tried to coddle her down, she went "insane" (i.e. tired) and Will-O ended taking her basket of toys out of her room (our standard) and then even yelled at her spanked her!!!! Hello, we do not yell or spank in this house...not good.
