Best Part of the Day-
Went to a park/pool with a friend and kiddos.  Summer!

Worst Part of the Day-
Stayed up all night starting/finishing The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.  It is an autobiographical Tuesdays With Morrie kinda deal.  It is a terribly easy read about a college professor who is swiftly dying of pancreatic cancer (not a good cancer to get.)  He has been quite blessed in his short life (prior to the diagnosis):  uber thoughtful and caring parents, a wife he absolutely adores, 3 sweet LITTLE kids, and the job of his dreams (he invented virtual reality?!)  Tears were streaming down my puffy, insomniac cheeks all night reading page after perfect page of quips, anecdotes and tear-jerking advice from a insightful natural teacher.
When I went to check out the author/patient's blog mentioned in the book I found out he had just passed away on Friday 7/25.  Ahhh.
It really is a great book with a solid message from an amazing man, but all I can think about now is death, death, death; making life lesson videos for my kidlets before I die and taking out much more life insurance.

I watched it last night on PBS. Very interesting.

I thought you were Irish? Don't you spend the last few months of winter thinking about death?
