1.) Had a good talk with "Cousin" Pate and a few other friends. It helped. (Irarely seem to connect via phone with these peeps...)
2). Watched Dateline this eve. Sheesh. This episode was about murder (of course), but more specifically couples with marital issues and 2 dead wives at the bloody hands of the respective husbands. (At least there is no homicide around this place!) It was divine to sit and watch. I have not watched an hour of t.v. in months and months.
Worst Part of the Day-
I started to feel a bit OVERWHELMED in the afternoon. The house was in a shambles, the backyard had a Mississippi front yard feel with toys and crap strewn everywhere...and then I noticed that I looked a bit like an insane homeless woman. I may need a few moments to ready myself one of these days.
Funniest Part of the Day-
Scarlet inquired about death and dying and what happens when one dies. I started in very scientifically with the heart stopping, etc., but she wanted much more. I then touched on the physical body vs. the soul and then made a statement that different people have different beliefs on what happens to the soul. This really intrigued her and I went on to give a few examples: heaven, clouds, and energy ball, ghost. I even explained a child-version of reincarnation and said a human soul could go into an animal body and vice versa. To this Scarlet smiled and said, "Are you pulling my leg?" No, I said. Some people think their loved one is now a dog and so on. Scarlet replied, "No way, that's too silly."
Maybe the church-going with G-Ma Barbie is rubbing off...ha.
