Best Part of the Day - It's Erik's birthday today and everyone in the household is in a grand mood. We met pals at the park (it was already 80 degrees by 10:30 a.m.) and then I took a trip to the grocery store with the boyz for some ingredients for ice cream pie for the birthday boy.
Worst Part of the Day - While I know he isn't turning seven - I still think it was a LAME-O birthday for Erik. Will try to do better next year. It just kind of snuck up on me. Also by the time we made it out to dinner (Steph came over to take care of the kiddos and we all ended up talking), it was pretty late (close to 10 p.m.) I don't like that too much.
