We found a new babysitter after years of mild looking. This one seems perfect. A mature teenager who (came highly recommended) is fantastic with the kids! She is in some kind of Gifted and Talented program and apparently she gets all the lead roles in her high school plays--she is energetic! Scarlet said about her "I really love her--she plays with us and is silly." At long last.
Worst Part of the Day-
The kids went to their regular Thursday sitter during the day and then new sitter picked them up until I got home from hospital around 8pm (7a-7p shift arrrgh) as Will-O was n/a due to music schedule madness. The kids seemed to have fun 'n games, but I was semi-concerned the whole day about other people caring for our offspring ALL DAY. Yes, I know billions of couples both work and caregivers take care of the kids each weekday...I am just not use to it. Must I relinquish? It is challenging.
Also, I had to miss my beloved book club due to my emotional issue of needing to see the chitlins for a few minutes before bed. I just could NOT do it.
