Worst Part of the Day - I thought that running errands would be so carefree without children either with me or waiting at home. Then I realized, errands are never really carefree they are just a necessary (or at times unnecessary) time suck. I went to work out at 9 a.m. and then ran errands until noon. Boooo. Then I had another moving dude come over to give me an estimate (yes, it's a little cart before the horse, but it never hurts to be prepared.) That took another hour. Boooo.
Best Part of the Day - Another spontaneous outing - movie and then dinner this time (Erik ze gimp still can't do much activity so we are limited in our options). We saw The Hulk which was pretty good. I mean, pretty good for what it was. Good effect, decent story, 25 minute action scenes. Maybe too many action movies in a row - starting to close my eyes during them to blur the action. But the sheer spontaneousness of it was the best part - decide and then just go. Novel.
Note - kiddos are doing well in Michigan. Mom seems cheery and in good spirits (prior to me leaving she kept saying "eight days. Yup, eight days." I think just trying to get it to sink in. But all sounds well.
