When it's p.j. time here, it is imperative to Scarlet that she and I match our nighttime wear. She will ask "What are you gonna wear, Mom--nightie or top and bottoms?" She will then dress according to my answer. (She has no idea how fun 7th grade will be with the phone calls to give a heads-up matching outfits for the next day). Tonight during p.j. time, Liam grabbed a Pepto Bismol pink Dora nightgown out of Scarlet's drawer and handed it to me. He started to say "jammie" in his baby talk and he kept hanging on to it. All of a sudden I thought, "Do you want to wear this, Buddy?" I put the gown on him and he knew this was crazy. He laughed and squealed and then went to the mirror to laugh some more. I yelled down to S. and Will-O to come up and see something funny. They were chuckling right away when they saw him--a vision in Pepto pink. Scarlet ran straight to him and picked him up saying "My long lost baby sister!" It was priceless. And he really is a cute girl. Even with his baby uni-brow.
Worst Part of the Day-
I was a bit sleepy all day. The coffee never really kicked in. (I don't recall feeling tired during the day since being a 20-something knucklehead--when it never occurred to me to NOT go out 7 days a week until bar time).
