The kids are waking up earlier and earlier (that is not the best part). This morn both Will-O and I were begging the gods of slumber for 2 more minutes. Scarlet said "Don't worry I'll take care of Liam..." We both laid in bed for a few minutes and we could hear the bubbly Scarlet assist Liam from his crib. We then heard the pitter patter of footsteps going downstairs. Good morning, Liam. Hiiiii. Then were heard PBS Kids on t.v. When I came down 2 minutes later I saw Liam in his highchair eating a blueberry muffin. Scarlet was pleased as punch as she said "I buckled him in his chair and pulled apart his muffin into bite-sized pieces--for safety. You only owe me 2 dollars for baby sitting." I will gladly pay this each morning. God love the maturation process.
Worst Part of the Day-
Will-O was taking Scarlet to preschool this morning and then he and Liam were headed to the gym. As they were leaving Will-O said to me with a smirk, "Well enjoy your MANY hours of blissful free time." And I sat there thinking, huh, you really don't know that I am about to clean the entire house from top to bottom and do 4 loads of wash before I shower and get ready for work this afternoon. I'm not sure that can be called either free time or bliss.
