Best Part of the Day - Last full day of preschool before the Christmas break - took full advantage with a trip to NoDa (supposed to be like Charlotte's version of SoHo. Don't laugh - I'm being serious.) And it is very adorable - full of independent coffee shops, bars, restaurants, stores, galleries with artists present and working. Pretty cool. Also new (to us) bed and chairs are now set up in our house. Nice. Thanks M and D.

Worst Part of the Day - Frantic call from Erik that the movers had already shown up (my parents have sent some things to us from Grand Rapids - a bed for our guest room. Hooray!) And it made me feel harried at the end of my lovely time out with the gals to NoDa. (I just wanted to write that again - NoDa.)
