Best Part of the Day-
Got my car professionally detailed. Lookin sooo fancy. Both kids commented, "It smells like Grandma Sally's car." Which means it is clean and fresh like a retired person who has time for such shenanigans--and sans crushed cereal and crap everywhere due to sans kids.
Worst Part of the Day-
My beloved and the first material possession I had truly cared about in my adult life (it made me know I was a fairly normal American) has died today. A key part of my luscious Dyson vacuum cracked and had to be put out to the trash today. Alas.
Within the same hour as the Dyson death two drinking glasses got knocked over and smashed. I live in a demolition.

I'm SO sorry about the Dyson! You know every (six) times we've moved, I've always said "I don't care about anything except this vacuum cleaner." They would wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in a wardrobe box for me.
