Best Part of the Day - Had a Mother's Day tea for Quinn at preschool today. All the mother's came in and sat in assigned seats with homemade cards, stone ladybugs and a thumbprint magnet. Then the kiddos were marched in to sing us some songs. Sincerely adorable as you can well imagine. Then we had some eats and I got to meet some of Quinn's pals and their mamas. Darling, darling. And according to Quinn I am

- 6 years old

- prettiest when I "fix my hair" (which is never - is he stickin' it to me?)

- so smart I even know about the "gym"

- always tell him to "sing!"

and other hilarious observations.

Worst Part of the Day - Wes really losing it today - I think he knew I went to Quinn's class and was annoyed.

-- cookie smackdown. So at the Mother's Day tea there were these Oreos. I took one extra for Wes and one of the teachers said "oh take some more." So I end up with five Oreos. The boys each have one in the car and then one when we get home. The last one I put in the fridge. Later we are outside and Wes disappears in the house. He comes back out with the Oreo. I tell him to eat half and then hand it over to Quinn. Wes is licking the cookie, taking small bites and then is refusing to hand it over when Quinn just reaches out, grabs the cookie and shoves it in his mouth. Wes about hyperventilates he is so mad. He's jumping up and down, breathing hard, and yelling in a high pitched voice with the INDIGNITY of it all. I have to put my head in my lap because I am laughing so hard. It takes me many, many minutes to calm him down. But I'm still laughing on the inside.
