Attended perhaps the best wedding shower eva! today. First off, held in a cool new bar/restaurant in the Third Ward. Yummy Middle Eastern fare and complete with belly dancer/mini-lesson. Wonderful peeps, touching toasts and a calm/lovely bride-to-be=success. Though I blocked off 11am-2pm for childcare, I ended up having a glass and a half of wine and chatting with Cuz K. post-shower. Soooo fantastic to have some 1:1 time and talk in a beautiful locale and lounge. Left at 5pm!!! Fun day.
Worst Part of the Day-
Still on-call...thus the only 1.5 glasses of wine.
