Precocious little girls: Scarlet was making Liam laugh and vice versa while I drove to Lake Park to catch Cale's baseball game. Liam does this grunting while holding his breath move that makes anyone chuckle (it is so strange, but funny). After several times of doing this to an easily entertained audience, Scarlet says to him, "Don't hurt yourself, buddy--you don't want to have a brain accident!" When I asked her what she meant by that she replied "you know, ya told me last week, Mom, that it's rude to say stroke and that you should say brain accident instead." Huh, I don't recall saying that, but it is true.
Worst Part of the Day-
Precocious little girls: On the way to Lake Park I filled 2 cups with water for the road and made my announcement to (mostly Scarlet as Liam will drink water without issue) the kids that we are having water as our bodies need hydration, etc. I ran back in the house to grab my purse and started buckling the kids in their seats. I saw Liam drinking his cup and asked S. where hers went. She said I didn't give one to her. Huh, I thought I brought both cups out together...but I am an airhead when trying to pack up the car so I went back in the house to look. I knew I just filled 2 cups--1 blue, 1 green. There was no cup to be found in the kitchen so I went back to the car and asked S. if she was sure the cup wasn't somewhere in between a seat. On my way back in the house a 2nd time, something blue caught my eye. I saw the blue cup laying on its side in a small puddle of water in the corner of the garage. S. saw me spot it and I asked her again (very sternly) what happened to the cup. She looked me right in the eyes and said, "a little girl who looks just like me and also is wearing this same dress threw it in the corner because she doesn't like water--only juice...but it wasn't me."
